Family-Child Resources offers a range of counseling services for persons of all ages (2 years and older), with a specialization in children and family issues. All services are provided in a caring and supportive environment.

Specialties include, but are not limited to, behavior problems, child abuse, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), depression, stress-/anxiety-related disorders, pain management, divorce, custody concerns, and other family issues.

A support group for teenage girls (13 to 19 years old) is available. Topics of discussion include: decision making, self-esteem, safety, healthy choices, relationships, and coping skills (depression, anxiety, peer pressure). Groups meet on an ongoing basis, and participants must have an initial assessment before they can attend the group.

Our counseling service also provides custody workshops and Cooperative Parenting and Divorce groups for parents who are divorcing or separating. These groups/workshops help parents learn how divorce affects children and strategies to help make this difficult time less stressful for their children. Often the court system recommends or requires that parents attend these groups/workshops.

Our counseling center is staffed by our team of qualified counselors and includes state-of-the-art facilities for helping children, adolescents, families and couples. Privacy and confidentiality are cornerstones of our counseling services.
