2008 Schedule
Saturday Groups | Summer Kids Groups | Kindergarten Readiness Program | Weekly Groups

Kids' Groups are designed for children age five to fourteen who are dealing with important issues such as divorce and separation, substance abuse prevention, body safety, getting along with others, and coping skills. Children have the chance to meet with other children experiencing the same issues and discuss
their feelings in a fun environment. Children are placed into groups according to
age and social/emotional development.

Saturday Groups

We now have three series of Saturday Kids' Groups, with a special focus for each series.

These groups are for children ages five to fourteen and will be held at
Family-Child Resources, 3995 East Market Street, York.

Series One:
Part A - Feelings
Time:	9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (Lunch is provided for the children)
Date:	August 9, 2008

Part B - Coping with Changes
Time:	9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (Lunch is provided for the children)
Date:	September 13, 2008

Series Two:
Part A - Anger Management
Time:	9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (Lunch is provided for the children)
Date:	October 11, 2008

Part B - Making Friends/Social Skills
Time:	9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (Lunch is provided for the children)
Date:	November 8, 2008

Summer Kids Groups

Shallow Brook Intermediate School, 213 South Hartman Street, Manchester
Dates:	August 5 and 7, 2008
Time:	9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Kindergarten Readiness Program

Family-Child Resources, 3995 East Market Street, York
Dates:	August 11 - 14, 2008
Time:	9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Please call us at (717) 757-1227 to find out when the next Weekly Group* will be held.

These services are generously supported through funding from York County Children and
Youth Services, and are offered free of charge to the families and children of York County.
