Parenting Solutions
This group offers parents an opportunity to understand children's behavior and learn basic principles of child management. Discussion topics include: consisency, being a good role model, setting limits, discipline, enforcing rules, allowing children freedom to discover things in their environment, and more. This weekly group is for parents of childrent ages 12 months to 12 years.

Becoming a Love & Logic Parent
This 8-week group offers parenting skills that provide limits in a
loving way and teach children to be responsible.

Parenting the Preschooler
This course is designed for parents of children ages 12 months to five years.
Parents will learn the developmental stages of preschoolers, effective discipline and
communication strategies, and what expectations are appropriate for this age group.

Parenting Your Infant

This series of parenting sessions is for new and/or expecting parents and their infants.
The sessions offer support, information, and practical tips for the first 12 months of a child's life.

Parents may register for any or all of the dates.
All sessions are held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday evenings at:
Women's Healthcare Group, 1693 South Queen Street, York.

This series of parenting sessions is for expecting teen parents.
The sessions offer support, information, and practical tips for teen parents-to-be as they
prepare for their new role.

• Managing Your Time
Play Time
Bonding Routines Managing Stress

*The next session will be held in October 2008 at Martin Memorial Library in York.

These services are generously supported through funding from York County Children and
Youth Services, and are offered free of charge to the families and children
who are residents of York County. On-site child care is available for a nominal fee.
